Prayer request: surgery tomorrow
It's hard to believe but it's already time to get these pesky tissue expanders out and exchange them for some sleek, soft silicone implants! Tomorrow morning I'll have outpatient surgery at UCLA. I'm excited because these expanders are very uncomfortable and have been bugging me since June haha. Besides getting them out and getting the implants instead, Dr.C will be "cleaning up" the area - nipping and tucking, so to speak - so that the result will be nicer to look at than what I've got now. The expansion process has been to basically stretch/grow skin and that produces funny shapes and excess skin that is just kind of icky and I'm psyched that at this time tomorrow that won't be there anymore :).
I would appreciate your prayers for a successful, complication-free, surgery and recovery so that I can stay on schedule and proceed with the next important step in my treatment process - radiation - which begins next month.
Thank you!
Love,
Julie

Thinking of you and sending you bravery, a very safe surgery, steady hands (the surgeon) and a outstanding result. You're in my thoughts and prayers.
You've got my prayers for a successful, timely surgery and steady, sexy-shaping surgeon hands for your doctor, Julie! I'm also praying for peace and calmness for you. Look how far you've already come! Lots of love from NY! Keep us updated when you can.
I'm excited for you for this part. This is the one positive thing! Nice boobs! Praying for speedy healing--but at this point, you can handle anything. Sending love and hugs to you and Cooper!
Sending you happy healthy perky boobie vibes!
Dr. McHottie will be an artist (think french accent there!) and all the icky looking stuff will be gone and you'll be tickled pink with your new set of blouse bunnies ;)
Your always in my thoughts, and you know with your mom there, the surgery will be a breeze.. I mean come on - how could it not be with EVERYTHING ELSE you've already overcome? ;) Love you girl! (feel free to drugged up text me :) I <3 those!)
Praying for you. I bet the new ones will be great! Enjoy the perkiness! You deserve a great new set after all you've been through!! Love you! Hugs from me and Colton and to you and Cooper
